Hurricane Ian made landfall Thursday, September 28th on the Gulf Coast of Florida. Hurricane Ian brought winds of 150mph and life-threatening storm surge and more than 2.5 million are without power. Hurricane Ian has been most catastrophic in Sanibel, Cape Coral, and Fort Myers. From animal shelters to homes completely underwater, the storm did a number on families and properties alike.
Krissie Newman founder and president of Rescue Ranch has deployed with partners Code 3 Associates. They are actively monitoring any animal-related crisis due to Hurricane Ian and will start providing support, rescue, and resources. We will be keeping you up to date on their relief efforts across our social media channels.
Help support Rescue Ranch and our partners, who are actively on the ground supporting these relief efforts. All donations received go directly to hurricane relief.
