WNC Animal Rescue Support

While we lost power for several hours and had a few trees fall on fences, overall Rescue Ranch fared the storm fairly well compared to our neighbors in the West. We are grateful for the ability to offer space to ASAR and as base camp prior to their deployment to WNC on September 28th. Also, we are thankful for our fearless and compassionate founder, Krissie Newman, who deployed with them. Please join us in wishing safety and much successful rescue for Krissie, ASAR, and all rescue teams.

It is the hope of Rescue Ranch to serve alongside animal rescue efforts in WNC by rallying our friends to help raise much needed funds for supplies. All funds raised will directly support Asheville Humane Society, Burke County Animal Services & ASAR and relief efforts for the animals of WNC. Rescue Ranch is serving as a donation drop off location for much needed water, dog and cat food, as well. We will make periodic deliveries of these donations to WNC as we are able. Please contact us if you would like to drop off donations of these items to the Ranch between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM at 1424 Turnersburg Hwy, Statesville, NC 28625.

We initially set our goal at $10,000. We reached our goal in less than 48 hours! We are overwhelmed by the generosity and compassion of our community. With the momentum of this fundraising effort we have decided to reset our goal to $25,000. The outpouring of help from our friends and neighbors has been spectacular and the need of our WNC neighbors is great. We will keep the fund open and continue to support WNC as long as we are able.
