Helene Animal Victims Support Drive

During Hurricane Helene, while we lost power for several hours and had a few trees fall on fences, overall Rescue Ranch fared the storm fairly well compared to our neighbors in the West. We are grateful for our ability to partner with various animal service and rescue organizations to aid in Helene disaster relief efforts.

It is the hope of Rescue Ranch to serve alongside animal rescue efforts in WNC by rallying our friends to help raise much needed funds for animal support and supplies. All funds raised will directly support collaborative efforts with many of the affected counties shelters, rescues and relief efforts for the animals of WNC.

We initially set our goal at $10,000. We reached our goal in less than 48 hours! We reset the goal to $25,000 then $50,000! Our goal continues to be met and exceeded. We are overwhelmed by the generosity and compassion of our community. With the momentum of this fundraising effort we have decided to reset our goal to $100,000. The abundance of help from our friends and neighbors has been spectacular and the need of our WNC neighbors is great. We recognize the impacts of this disaster will take months, if not years, to fully recover from, and we are committed to providing support to those in our network as long as we are able.

The outpouring of generosity through supply donation has been overwhelming. At this time we are only collecting a limited amount of specific items. Our list of supply needs is updated frequently as we are made aware of specific needs. Please contact us for current needs. If you are interested in donating other supplies to WNC, please use this link for current information https://www.supportingwnc.com/. This link is also useful for finding volunteer opportunities.

Please help us continue to support our WNC neighbors.
